As strange things begin to happen, Maddie and Aiden uncover a town secret that has been forgotten for centuries and no one will believe.
Passing Strange - The Well
For Fourteen-year-old Aidan Reynolds, the archaeological dig at the Parrish Cove historical society is the only thing making the summer interesting.
That is until he meets Maddie, an unusual girl who has just moved to town and is convinced that there is more to the local legends surrounding the historical society than even he knows.
While Aidan may not believe her, the strange artifacts that are recovered from the dig force them into exploring the dark, twisted history of Parrish Cove and its strange doctor...a man who vanished over a century ago.
Together, they uncover a town secret that has been forgotten for centuries, and discover that there are some things that should stay buried.
Passing Strange - The Sunken Forest
Maddie and Aidan are still recovering from her first traumatic week in Parrish Cove. While Aidan would love nothing more than to forget everything, too many questions remain, and Maddie is more determined than ever to find answers after someone ransacks her room.
Forced into helping to restore the abandoned Parrish Cove lighthouse for the historical society with some other students, their new friends tease them about the dark history of the lighthouse and the countless missing persons reported in the area every year.
Trying to fit in with their new friends, Maddie and Aidan reluctantly follow them on a tour of the abandoned buildings and hidden places around town.
When one of their friends disappears, their search reveals a more terrifying secret hidden in the dark corners of town.
